Okay i know that this is probably the stupidest question ever, but im pretty confused. If im doing dumbbell curls with a spinlock dumbbell handle and 10lb weight plates on each side, does that mean im curling 10lbs or 20lbs?

I only have access to 5 pound weights and I started to do 300+ curls on each arm.. I don’t feel any burn but it makes my arms feel like jello. I’ve read that dumbbell flies are pretty good for your chest and arms but I only have access to 5 pound dumbbells. Would 5 pounds do anything for dumbbell flies?
Why does my non dominant forearm hurt when i lift weights especially dumbbell curls , the pain is located at the back of the forearm near between the elbow and the wrist . The pain just automatically comes in when i lift weights then gradually fades away when i drop the dumbbells , It just feels like my forearm would go cold , then the pain comes in . Is there any way to prevent this? or cure it? thanks
For curls does it matter if your hand is parallel or perpendicular to the floor? Are the only muscles in your upper arm biceps and triceps? What about shoulders and chest. Currently I have a 20 pound dumbbell.
Say I do 45lbs of dumbbell curls (10 reps,3 sets). Should I use that same weight or should I use more when I do dumbbell presses (12 reps,3 sets) on my chest?
I’m beginner working with dumbbells every night now and I was wondering for the amount of exercise to do per day or week.
I currently do 3 sets of 15 reps each of regular dumbbell curls – with push ups in between every set.
Is it okay for me to do this every night? Or should I do it every other night.
Also, when I’m doing dumbbell curls, is it okay if I do one arm then alternate to the other, or is it best to do both at the same time? (example. One rep of the left, then one rep of the right, continuing till I do 15 for each)
Thanks!
Dumbbell bicept curls – Front plate raise
Lat pulldowns – Machine shoulder raise
Back raise – crunches
Barbbell bicept curls – Dumbbell wrist twists
Cable straight arm – standing wrist curls
Machine leg curl – Seated calf raise
I just wanna know if this would be good?
This is my day 2 workout schedual. I cover bench and such in my first day. so no worries
