How much dumbbell weight should i be lifting?

I only have 25pound dumbbells, im 21 and sorta skinny. I have a hard time lifting them, but I force myself too, and I kinda use my right hand to help me when I lift with my left arm.

Is this okay? or should I really just buy smaller weights?

      You may need to buy smaller weights and go from there. It’s not really working out if you use two arms for one to lift dumbbell. Just do few reps with heavier weights. If your arm can’t lift anymore, then quit or go to lighter weights.
